A fine, golden pilsner lager, originally brewed as a Christmas beer in Leuven, Belgium. Named Stella after the Christmas Star and Artois after Sebastian Artois who founded the brewery. It was an instant sensation, and became so popular that it stayed in demand throughout history, and for decades to come.
Today, Stella Artois is is renowned as the benchmark for Premium continental Lager. It is full-bodied with an alcohol content of 5.2% ABV and is best enjoyed at a cool 3°C.
